FLUE FOR FURNACE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC F24B7/00 F23J11/00 E04H12/28

Abstract RU 2586642 C1

FIELD: design of furnaces; methods of fuel combustion.

SUBSTANCE: chimney for furnace consists of a vertically oriented body, the bottom inlet part of which is connected to a source of hot gases, preferably of fuel combustion products in the furnace, the top outlet part is connected with atmosphere. In the central part of the chimney, its lower and upper parts are connected to each other by means of isolated from each other shaped channels - one central channel having a shape of a cross section in the form of a circle, and several peripheral channels having the shape of a cross section in the form of arc sectors of a circle, arranged with a radial clearance relative to each other and to the central channel. Total flow area of said channels is equal to or exceeds the passage area of the chimney. Said channels are installed in step extensions made on adjacent sections of the chimney.

EFFECT: higher heat emission of furnace achieved due to lowering of temperature of exhaust smoke gases.
