FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for simulating petrographic facies. Disclosed is distribution of petrographic facies using analytical simulation. At least some of described versions of implementation represent methods involving steps of created by means of computer system cellular geological model of underground formation. First value of first properties of rock associated with first logging diagram is read. Connect first value of first properties of rock with first cell from multiple cells of cellular geologic model. First value properties of rock each cell from multiple cells is assigned based on first value and initial level of information. At that, initial level of information differs from first value.
EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy and reliability of results of simulation.
