SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for transmitting binary message data. Watermark decoder, circuit of which includes a unit for generating a time-frequency representation, a memory unit, a timing detector and a watermark extractor. Unit for generating time-frequency representation creates signal representation with a watermark in frequency domain for a plurality of time units. Memory unit stores signal representation with a watermark in frequency domain for plurality of time units. Timing detector identifies alignment time unit based on frequency representation of signal with a watermark in plurality of time units. Watermark extractor extracts from binary message data stored in frequency representation of signal with a watermark in time units preceding alignment time unit, taking into account distance from identified alignment time unit.
EFFECT: technical result is to optimise generation of binary messages data depending on watermarked signal, which would increase amount of binary message data received with signal with a watermark.
