FIELD: audio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for encoding audio signal sources. For this, the invention provides for a harmonic transformation based on a subband block, where the time block of complex discrete values of subbands is processed by common phase modification. Superposition of several modified discrete values gives the net effect of limiting unwanted combination components, whereby it is possible to use coarser frequency resolution and/or less oversampling. In one embodiment of the invention, the invention further comprises a window function, suitable for use with HFR based on a block of subbands, enhanced by cross products. Hardware embodiment of the invention may include analysis filter unit (101), sub-band processing module (102) configured with control data (104) and a synthesis filter block (103).
EFFECT: technical result is the reproduction of a sound signal with high accuracy provided that the computational costs are reduced.
