FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: planter for sowing of seeds comprises seed discharging tube (13) adapted to feed seed by excess air pressure from a seed distributing device to seed outlet (14), seed furrow opener (15), comprising two sowing discs arranged at an angle relative to each other; and resilient press surface (16) for pressing seed into soil. Press surface (16) is configured such that a direction of flow (F) of seeds at seed outlet (14) intersects or is substantially tangential to at least a portion of press surface (16). Seed outlet (14) is located between sowing discs and, as seen in transverse direction, inside or immediately adjacent to periphery of at least one of sowing discs (15).
EFFECT: invention improves operational reliability without reducing accuracy of seed sowing.
