FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: ice generator has a cooling device, mold which forms the first volume for ice cube, wherein the mold comprises bottom surface with inner perimeter and side surfaces. Each side surface has inner perimeter, top edge and bottom edge. Upper edge of each side surface can be longer than the lower edge. Each side surface can pass inside from the top edge to lower edge. Mold can contain a three-dimensional shape in the first volume, whereupon three-dimensional mold contains the second volume. Second volume can be formed by top outer perimeter, lower outer perimeter and, at least, 3D mold edge. Edge can pass upward and narrow between the lower outer perimeter and upper outer perimeter. Mold can also form a third volume between the first and second volumes. Mold is configured to receive water in the third volume.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions enables fast production of ice.
