FIELD: optics; measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining optical properties of nanoparticles. Measurements are carried out using a photometric ball. Light transmission factor and sum of transmission and reflection coefficients of light is determined using analytical solving equation of transfer of radiation in layer of medium. For determination of efficiency of dissipation and radiation absorption, as well as scattering indicatrix anisotropy factor used is a histogram of size distribution of nanoparticles.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling separate determination of optical properties of nanoparticles, associated with absorption and scattering of light.
