FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of filler particles in the volume of the polymer matrix by infrared spectroscopy, in particular, to methods of express-analysis of polymer composites anisotropy by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Infrared spectroscopic method of determining anisotropy of filler particles in the volume of the polymer matrix consists in sequential recording infrared transmission spectra samples, consisting of polymer matrix and filler, wherein | nM - nN | >0, where nM and nN - respectively, refraction indicators of the matrix and the filler, in turning the specimen in frontal and/or transverse planes. Conversion of the obtained spectra in curves of distribution of filler particles by size and identification of their extreme values enables to determine anisotropy of filler particles in a polymer matrix.

EFFECT: technical result is development of infrared spectroscopic express method of determining anisotropy of filler particles in the volume of the polymer matrix.
