SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method of determining individual's resistance to treating cancer with 2,2-dimethyl-N-((S)-6-oxo-6,7-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[b,d]-azepine-7-yl)-N′-(2,2,3,3,3-pentaflouropropil)malonamide including measurement of level of biomarker present in biological sample taken in said subject, where biomarker is a IL6 and/or IL8, and where high level of IL6 and/or IL8 testifies to presence of resistance to said treatment. group of inventions also concerns kit for determining individual's resistance to treating cancer with 2,2-dimethyl-N-((S)-6-oxo-6,7-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[b,d]-azepine-7-yl)-N′-(2,2,3,3,3-pentaflouropropil)malonamide; using combination of 2,2-dimethyl-N-((S)-6-oxo-6,7-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[b,d]-azepine-7-yl)-N′-(2,2,3,3,3-pentaflouropropil)malonamide and anti-IL6 agent and/or anti-IL8 agent for producing drug for treating cancer characterized by high level of IL6 and/or IL8.
