FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and device for protection of aircraft at flight stage. For protection of aircraft at flight stage, method includes determining current configuration of slats and flaps, limit angle of attack for given configuration, amplification factor depending on normal acceleration. Comparing current angle of attack with limit angle, suspended by means of amplification factor. Transmitting alarm signal if obtained value is exceeded depending on flight altitude and speed of aircraft. Protection device comprises means for determination of critical angle of attack, a means of determining gain factor, a means of comparing current and maximum angle of attack, means to feed alarm signal.
EFFECT: providing early warning of risk of stalling aircraft.
