FIELD: engines and pumps, rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid-propellant rocket engines (LPE), specifically to gas generators for generating gas for drive of turbo-pump unit. Gas generator comprises a cooled chamber, a mixing head, consisting of outer bottom, middle bottom, fire bottom, nozzles of antechamber type, including an axial channel made blind on side of its inlet part, communicated via tangential holes arranged uniformly in circumferential direction with oxidiser cavity, an annular channel with tangential holes arranged uniformly in circumferential direction and coming out in fuel chamber located coaxially to axial channel, an antechamber, being continuation of annular channel connected on one side with annular channel and axial channel, and on other side with gas generator chamber, wherein at end of injector around antechamber there are holes connecting fuel chamber with gas generator cavity, wherein inside gas generator cavity there is a water cavity made in form of two bottoms and gas bushings fixed between them, wherein water cavity is connected to high-temperature zone of gas generator chamber through radial holes made in walls of gas bushings, in embodiment in bottom of water cavity located on side of mixing head, there are holes.
EFFECT: invention provides high uniformity of temperature field of generator gas at outlet and pressure due to ballasting of combustion products with water and simple design.
