FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid-propellant rocket engines (LPE), namely to gas generators generating gas for driving a turbopump unit. Gas generator comprises a cooled chamber and a mixing head, which includes a housing, a fire bottom, an outer bottom and a mixer consisting of an oxidant supply branch pipe and a fuel supply branch pipe, installed coaxially and plugged in the outlet part, wherein fuel feed pipe extends inside oxidant supply branch pipe. On the cylindrical surface of the fuel supply branch pipe, located inside the cooled chamber, there are transverse ribs in which there are longitudinal holes connecting the annular channels formed by the branch pipes, and radial holes connecting inner cavity of fuel supply branch pipe with annular grooves made on cylindrical surface of transverse ribs. On the cylindrical surface of the oxidant supply branch pipe, located inside the cooled chamber, there are radial holes connected to the annular grooves, and inclined holes communicating with annular channels, forming mixing elements, and in its outlet part there are radial holes providing supply of oxidant into the cavity of the cooled chamber.
EFFECT: described is a gas generator.
