FIELD: liquid propellant rocket engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas generators that generate gas to drive a turbopump unit. The gas generator contains a fuel-cooled chamber and a mixing head, consisting of a housing, fixed to the ends of the housing of the outer bottom and the fire bottom, and two-component nozzles, evenly spaced around the circumference and including a tubular body, in the outlet part of which longitudinal holes are made and a tip is made in the form of a tube, plugged in the outlet part and on the cylindrical surface of which two rows of radial holes are made, and their axes intersect with the axes of the longitudinal holes of the tubular body.
EFFECT: invention improves the quality of mixture formation and optimizes the design of the gas generator.
