FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology, particularly to means of hydrodynamic parameters recording. Method involves recording of parameters of hydrodynamic action using hydrodynamic sensor arranged in water reservoir and subsequent processing of recorded signal. Receiving module is configured to change angular position under action of water environment. Angular velocity of the receiving module is measured, obtained information is processed and based on it values are determined characterising measured hydrodynamic action by given mathematical expression considering measurement time, sensor radius of rotation, signal of fibre-optic gyroscope when measuring sensor angular velocity. Linear displacement is found, characterising hydrodynamic effect. Angular velocity sensor is presented by fibre-optic gyroscope having length of up to 25 km. Gyroscope includes laser, optical fibre on coil and photodetector. At that, laser is made with possibility of two opposite beams introduction into fiber, and angular velocity is fixed through phase difference of opposite beams at coil output. Device also comprises flexible suspension, anchor and float.

EFFECT: higher sensitivity of the sensor.
