FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to double sealing device for rotary shaft and a pump, which includes such device. Proposed device comprises first and second seal installed next to each other in the round cylindrical housing, sealed shaft passing through, each of these seals consists, on one side a metal support ring with outer axial flange and inner radial flange, and, at the other side - a sealing washer, forming sealing sliding ledge resting on the shaft. First seal supports isolation of the first fluid medium, and the second seal supports isolation of the second fluid medium; axial flange, at least of one of support rings of the first and second seals has a head which forms ring structure equipped or not equipped with slots that is not covered with sealing washer of corresponding seal and is thus located, in fact, so that it faces the peripheral groove and “points” toward another seal.
EFFECT: higher reliability of device.
