FIELD: stop valves.

SUBSTANCE: valving comprises housing with passage and slide valve chamber. The housing receives the valving member connected with the nut of the spindle by means of a thread. The valving member is provided with sealing members and is defined by the disk-shaped main part whose outer size is negligibly less than the nominal bore. The opposite bearing surface of the main part is defined by the ribs. The bearing surfaces are provided with disk-shaped sealing members for permitting the surfaces to be tightly abut one against the other . The sealing members are secured to the main part by means of the bearing washers. The bearing washers are arranged on opposite faces of the sealing members and are connected by fastening means. The fastening means pass through the openings of the bearing washers, main part. and sealing members.
