FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to poly acrylate obtained through radical polymerisation of at least one acrylate monomer (Ac) in the presence of polymer photo initiator. Polymer photo initiator is copolymer of at least one monomer (A) with at least one monomer (B). Monomer (A) represents a photo initiator monomer (A) of formula (I), in which: Pi is photo initiating fragment representing benzophenone or tioxsantone; Z is linking fragment selected from-communication, optionally substituted C1-C12alkylene and optionally substituted -O-(C1-C12alkylene); X1 and X2 are independently selected from optionally substituted C1-C12alkylene; where Z, X1 and X2 are selected such that N is tertiary amine; W1 and W2 are functional alcohol groups. Monomer (B) contains at least two functional isocyanate groups W3 and W4, and W1, W2, W3 and W4 are selected so that copolymerisation of monomers (A) and (B) W1 used with W3 forming urethane fragment, and W2 reacted with W4 forming urethane fragment. Present invention also proposes method of producing poly acrylate using the described polymer photo initiator and application of polymer photo initiator as photo initiator for radical polymerisation of acrylic monomers.

EFFECT: reduced number or elimination of joint of reagents and catalysts during polymerisation.
