METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF RISK OF HOSPITAL MORTALITY AMONG PATIENTS WITH ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME WITHOUT "ST" SEGMENT ELEVATION ON ECG Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2589251 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for predicting risk of hospital mortality among patients with acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation. Method consists in the fact that determination of hospital mortality risk among patients with acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation on electrocardiogram is carried out by step-by-step analysis of several biological parameters including the following variables: patient's age 62 years and more, blood creatinine level more than 168.0 mcmol/l, blood glucose level more than 6.4 mmol/l, blood troponin I level more than 0.1 ng/ml, class III-IV acute cardiac failure according to Killip classification , systolic blood pressure lower than 100 mm of mercury column, front localization of myocardial infarction. If total score is 0-3, patient is referred to low risk category, while in case of total score is from 4 to 7, patient is referred to category of high-risk hospital mortality.

EFFECT: proposed invention allows higher prognostic value of declared method, it is characterised by convenience and simplicity of use, taking into account the most significant prognostic factors, promotes selection of optimum therapeutic approach for each patient taking into account individual characteristics.
