SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to personal hygiene and concerns additive for hair care compositions containing a) substantive polymer and b) mixed with water polar solvent selected from group comprising alditol, polyols and esters of glycols, where concentration of substantive polymer in solvent ranges from 0.1 wt % to 20 wt %, substantive polymer is selected from group including polysaccharides and synthetic polymers containing cationic monomers, molecular weight (Mw) substantive polymer according to molecular sieve chromatography is in range from more than 50 kDa to 800 kDa or less, and where degree of cationic substitution substantive polymer (katSZ) is more than 0.001. Group of inventions also concerns hair care compositions containing said additive.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides long-term beneficial effect on keratin surface, namely increased easy combing, easier for combing hair colour, high resistance to washing.
