FIELD: data processing; aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of aircraft acoustic detection and identification. Device comprises multichannel sound receiver containing microphones, amplifiers, ADCs, wind velocity sensor, digital detector made on programmable micrologic circuits, recognition device, indicator, radio modem. Digital detector comprises unit of digital filters, frequency lower boundary calculation unit, unit calculating atmospheric noise dispersion, digital correlator, comparison unit, unit calculating adaptive detection threshold. Herewith, determination of target bearing is carried out by time shift of maximum cross-correlation function, and identification of detected aircraft is carried out by comparing spectrum of aircraft acoustic radiation with the library of standard aircraft spectra. Additional information for identification is target speed and level of its acoustic radiation.
EFFECT: increase in accuracy of detection.
