FIELD: radars.
SUBSTANCE: passive radar methods in radio monitoring and electronic intelligence systems used to determine the location of fixed sources of radio emission located on the earth's surface, including sources with signals that are not resolved in time and frequency. The use of incoherent signal accumulation involves joint processing of the received signal realizations over a long time of observation of radio emission sources when one or a pair of receiving points is moved. The method allows detecting sources of pulsed and continuous modulated, including noise-like, signals and determining their coordinates.
EFFECT: increasing the signal-to-noise ratio. In the claimed method, incoherent signal accumulation is implemented in a difference-range-measuring base-correlation system with a moving measuring base with the exclusion of the stage of determining the coordinates of the radio emission source at the intersections of its position lines.
