SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote browsing and is directed at generation and management of a remote persistent browsing context at a network computing provider. Client computing device requests a remote persistent browsing context instance at a network computing provider. Network computing provider provides processing results corresponding to processed representations of requested content to client computing device. Persistent browsing context may be maintained at network computing provider subsequent to user ending interaction with browser application at client device. Client computing device may subsequently request access to persistent browsing context maintained at network computing and storage device.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of continuation of user browsing session initiated at first client computer to open browsing software application on other client computing device.
