FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device (DGSM) to seal (SHS) turbo machine shaft (CO), wherein device (DGSM) to seal shaft with one end of axis has side (HPS) of high pressure, and at other end of axis-side low pressure (LPS) containing rotor part (RS), rotating during operation, fixed stator part (CS), at least one dry gas seal (DGS), wherein at end side (HPS) of high pressure device (DGSM) to seal shaft there is another additional shaft seal to seal intermediate space (IR) with successive mounting relative to dry gas seal (DGS) containing fixed and rotating part of seal of shaft, located in middle surface of shaft seal, stretching in direction of circle and in axial direction, is located between stationary and rotating parts of shaft seal on fifth diameter (DSS5) coaxially to axis (AX) of rotation, wherein between fixed sealing element (SSE) and stator part (CS) to seal from first pressure drop at fourth diameter (DSS4) there is a fourth stationary seal (SS4). So that changes in sliding in case of faults in dry gas seal do not lead to damages, value of fourth diameter (DSS4) relative to fifth diameter (DSS5) should be less than 10 % of fifth diameter.
EFFECT: device for sealing turbomachine shaft is disclosed.
