FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, specifically to methods of producing cowlings of hydroacoustic station antennae, and to their design. Manufacturing of hydroacoustic station dome by parts with their further connection, main part (body of cowling) is made by winding, shape of a ball mounted on a shaft, wound roving threads impregnated with binder, with formation of cowling body on axis of rotation in area of its poles bore for shaft, in which, after processing, installed pole part in form of a plug formed under pressure (separately from main part of cowling) of same reinforcing material and binder with observance of same density and direction of laying layers and design parameters, matched with parameters of cowling body design. Installation of plug in hole in cowling of hydroacoustic station consists of a complex of measures which enable to make cowling with acoustically favourable homogeneous structure.

EFFECT: technical result is improved manufacturability, including reduced time and labour input, a method of making cowlings of hydroacoustic stations, uniform structure and high acoustic and strength properties of cowlings.
