In multi zone scanning device for remote imaging complete disc of the Earth from geostationary orbit are two independent optical information channel, combined with a common housing and serviced by common electronic units: power supply, telemetry, temperature control, etc., with separate generation of images in visible and infrared ranges. In infrared range interference filters are used.

EFFECT: reduced time for obtaining images, increase of frequency of updating information, higher signal/noise ratio, higher fault-tolerance.
