SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, particularly to means of remote the Earth probing. In multi zone scanning device for remote imaging complete disc of the Earth from geostationary orbit are two independent optical information channel, combined with a common housing and serviced by common electronic units: power supply, telemetry, temperature control, etc., with separate generation of images in visible and infrared ranges. In infrared range interference filters are used.
EFFECT: reduced time for obtaining images, increase of frequency of updating information, higher signal/noise ratio, higher fault-tolerance.
