FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular to devices for nuts cracking. Device includes housing, axis, whereon hub and transporting element with evenly placed along periphery cells are attached, loading bin, in which deflector is mounted above transporting element to rotate in opposite direction and higher rate relative to transporting element. Nut shell destruction zone is formed by transporting element and sector with working surface made on logarithmic spiral. Sector is pivoted on housing with clearance between cylindrical part of conveying element and working surface by means of adjusting screw. Transporting element is made in form of drum, on periphery of which there are rows of radial through holes. On inner cylindrical part of transporting drum along axes of rows of radial holes circular grooves are made to receive wedge ejectors of split nut fragments. Inside transporting drum on axis there is cylinder, which is fixed. Wedge ejectors are mounted on pins fixed in end walls of fixed cylinder.
EFFECT: higher quality of nuts.
