SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic adjustment of new rules for controlling applications when putting into operation. Technical result is achieved by using a method of automatic adjustment of rules for controlling applications, comprising steps of: obtaining a new application control rule; collecting information on network; analysing new application control rules based on collected information, where analysis consists in determination of verdicts, which can be made in case of commissioning of a new application control rule; comparing verdicts of new rules of controlling applications made with verdicts of current rules for controlling applications; detecting at least one conflict when comparing verdicts of rules for controlling applications; adjusting new application control rules in accordance with detected at least one conflict.

EFFECT: elimination of contradiction between new or changed rules of controlling applications and active control rules of applications owing to automatic adjustment of said rules for controlling applications.
