SUBSTANCE: method for generation and frequency modulation of high-frequency signals is based on conversion of energy of a constant voltage source to energy of a high-frequency signal, interaction of the high-frequency signal with a feed-forward path made of a three-pole non-linear element and a four-pole circuit, a load and an external feedback path, implementation of excitation conditions in the form of balance of amplitudes and balance of phases, which determine amplitude and frequency of generated high-frequency signals, conditions of coordination of the feed-forward path with the load and conditions of coordination of the load with a control electrode of the three-pole non-linear element, change in frequency of the generated signal as per the amplitude variation law of the low-frequency control signal. The feed-forward path is made of a complex four-pole circuit and a three-pole non-linear element, which are cascade connected; the load is made in the form of the first bipole with complex resistance.
EFFECT: increasing a linear section of a frequency modulation characteristic due to use of one non-linear element.
