FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended for diagnosing state of insulation of power electric equipment, particularly railway rolling stock. Summary: device also includes unit for generating pulse voltage, memory module, unit for calculating forecast parameters moisture indicator insulation and prediction of insulation resistance, monovibrator of periodic pulses and multivibrator. Pulse voltage generating unit is circuit of series-connected inductance, diode and capacitor, as well as switch, first and second inputs of which are connected in parallel to diode and capacitor. First input of pulse voltage generation unit connected to "plus" output of DC voltage source is output of inductance, and second its input connected to "minus" output of DC voltage source is output of capacitor, which is simultaneously second output of pulse voltage generation unit, which first output is diode and capacitor connection point. First current sensor input is connected to second output of pulse voltage generation unit. First inputs of memory module and unit for calculation of forecasted parameters are connected to output of insulation resistance computing unit. Output of monostable multivibrator is connected directly to third input of switch unit for generating pulse voltage and second inputs to memory module and unit for calculation of forecasted parameters respectively, as well as through multivibrator is respectively to third inputs of memory module and unit for calculation of forecasted parameters, which fourth input is connected to output of memory module. First and second outputs of unit for calculating forecast parameters are connected to first and second inputs of humidity sensor and insulation resistance prediction.

EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of estimating current and forecast of state of insulation resistance and continuous information on its state.
