FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus and method of creation of sealed areas, as well as to tapes, containing such areas. Technical result is achieved by proposed device for sealing of one or several areas of one or several tapes, which contain thermoplastic materials and having lengths (x), widths (y) and thicknesses of (z), by using plastic deformation. Device has x-direction or direction of movement in machine, aligned with direction of band motion relative to device, y-direction or direction at right angle to machine, matching direction of tape width. Apparatus comprises one or several sources of energy to increase temperature field of tape. At that, power source emits acoustic, preferably ultrasonic energy. First and second supports, forming gap and adapted to receive tape so that tapes thickness or z-direction is aligned with width of gap. Width of gap adjustment means adapted to apply pressure to tape in gap. Apparatus is characterised by that first support comprises base structure of first support, which is flat base or cylindrical shaft, and flexible elongated element including metal, part of which is located on surface of base structure or built into it. Flexible element is flexible in its y and z-directions and have degree of flexibility of more than 0.01 mm.
EFFECT: technical result is elimination of dependence of sealed areas shape from deviations of properties of pressed material.
