FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions concerns a device (1) for determining the position of an object (2) moving in a high-pressure area (H) and the use of a device (1) for determining the position of a shaft on a magnetic support rotating in a high-pressure area (H). The device (1) contains a registration unit (1.1) having one sensor (1.1.1) for registering the position of the object (2) and providing a position signal, and a sensor wire (1.1.2) for transmitting a position signal to the analytical processing unit (3), a carrier node (1.2), while the carrier node (1.2) has a flexible section (1.2.2), which is located between the stationary end (1.2.1) and the section (III) passed through the housing limiting the high-pressure area (H), and the flexible section (1.2.2) is formed by a segment (1.2.5) of the guide pipe (1.2.4) made in the form of a tubular spiral, through which the sensor wire is passed (1.1.2).
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the position of an object in the high-pressure area H for optimal operation of an electric motor/generator or machine, an increase in the strength of the device.
