FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to handling machinery, and can be used to reduce loads on their structures during operation. Tower crane contains boom (4) with cargo carriage moved along guides located along boom. Between cargo truck (5) and end of boom (4), remote from crane tower (1), on boom (4) there is extra bogie (8) with possibility of movement by means of its wheels in guides along boom; at this bogie (8) there is propeller (10) rotating in vertical plane oriented along boom, for which propeller is equipped with reversible drive located on bogie (8) and equipped with control system; and bogie (8) is equipped with mechanism of its movement in both sides along boom (4).

EFFECT: higher maintainability of propeller.
