FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: device for transportation of vehicles is configured to be installed inside container and has column (1, 2, 7, 8), first and second cross beams, each being configured for fixation and detachable connection of corresponding end with corresponding column, having a head with lug configured for connection of device for displacement of end of beam along column. Head is made out of rectangular cross section of pipe with a recess in middle part and with a hole in each extreme part to hook tension belt attachment to side wall of container. In cavity of recess there is a lug. Method for transportation of vehicles inside container is based on location of one vehicle on floor surface by first tier and another vehicle on disclosed device for transportation vehicle inside container by second tier.

EFFECT: invention simplifies design and increases reliability of fixation of vehicle during transportation.
