FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of neutron reflectometry. Device comprises: a monochromator, a filter which selects a specific wavelength, a monochromatic beam former consisting of a mirror polariser, a mirror deflector, a collimation system, a spin flipper. Beam former is made in form of at least one single unit in which there are at least four mirror channels. Each mirror channel consists of two rigidly connected mirrors, turned relative to each other at an angle of 2θb, wherein reflecting coating of two channels of former is a structure of alternating nanolayers: magnetic and nonmagnetic. For one channel coating structure is periodic, and other is aperiodic. Reflecting coating of mirrors of remaining two channels of former are a structure of alternating nanolayers of two different non-magnetic materials, wherein for one of said pair of mirrors coating structure is periodic, and for other of said pair of mirrors coating structure is aperiodic. Said single unit also includes a channel for adjustment of said mirror channels.
EFFECT: higher polarisation of beam, high measurement accuracy, possibility of producing a more compact device.
