FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of producing material based on mixed lithium and manganese oxide with a spinel structure for use in secondary batteries. Disclosed is a method of obtaining lithiated double lithium and manganese oxide of composition Li1+xMn2O4, where 0.20<x<1.25, comprising mechanically preparing a homogeneous mixture of lithium hydride LiH and lithium manganite LiMn2O4 with molar ratio LiH : LiMn2O4, equal to 0.2÷1.25, annealing ready mixture in an argon atmosphere at temperature of 250÷300 °C for 1÷2 hours, then replacing argon atmosphere with an air atmosphere and further annealing at same temperature for 0.2÷1 hour.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain material with predetermined and homogeneous composition, characterised by high content of lithium, which provides high battery capacity, as well as good compatibility with portable systems.
