FIELD: production of dispersed oxides preferably for cathode matrix of rechargeable lithium-ion cells.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production oxides, in particular lithium-manganese oxide LixMn2O4, lithium-nickel oxide LixNiO4, and lithium-cobalt oxide LixCoO4. High dispersed lithium-metal oxide is produced by thermal decomposition of mixed aqueous solution of metal and lithium nitrates with addition of hydrocarbon in high-temperature inert gas stream. Product recovered from steam-dust-gas stream is additionally processed by thermal treatment in oxidizing medium at temperature not higher than that of decomposition of lithium-metal oxide with single-phase structure.
EFFECT: lithium-metal oxides with decreased particle size and narrow grain fineness distribution of dispersed product.
