FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clinical endoscopy and gastroenterology. For detection of Helicobacter pylori bacteria in histological material before esophagogastroduodenoscopy patient is administered parenterally omeprazole for suppression of gastric secretion. In system of vacuum "esophagogastroduodenoscope-electric pump" circuit is introduced a device for collection of gastric material, wherein a test strip for determining acidity (pH) is placed in transparent glass vessel of said device in advance. At pH shift towards neutral values of not less than 4, endoscopist produces biopsy material taken at large and small curvature in antrum at distance of 1.5 cm from a pylorus, as well as at distance of 1.5 cm in proximal boundary of gastric corpus and antral section.
EFFECT: method provides more effective detection of helicobacteriosis, on one hand, and minimises risks associated with biopsy procedure, owing to more targeted biopsy material intake and reducing acid aggression of gastric material.
