FIELD: technological processes; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of fragmentation of the material by means of high-voltage discharges, to a system of electrodes for installation of electrodynamic fragmentation, making it possible to carry out said method, as well as to fragmentation and to use of this plant for fragmentation of material with low electric conductivity. Method includes preparation of electrode system containing a passage opening or through channel for fragmented material and one or several pairs of electrodes, a stage of supply systems of electrodes on the side of the passage opening or through channel, a step of generating high-voltage discharges in a through hole or in the pass channel by means of high-voltage pulse to electrodes and a step of fragmented to smaller or equal to the specified value of the size of material pieces through passage hole or through channel of the system of electrodes. Installation for fragmentation used for fragmentation of material with low electric conductivity, in particular, silicon, concrete or slag, comprises above described system of electrodes and high-voltage pulse generator for supply to electrodes of electrode system of high-voltage pulses.
EFFECT: electrodynamic fragmentation using the group of inventions is characterised by higher degree of process efficiency.
