SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electrostatic purification of gas. The electric dust collector includes a flat-shaped collecting electrode including multiple through holes and located along the direction of the gas flow, and a corona electrode including multiple sections used to generate a corona discharge and protruding in the direction of the opposing collecting electrode. The corona electrode is located parallel to the collecting electrode. The relative area of the holes of the collecting electrode is no less than 10% and no more than 70%.

EFFECT: impact of ion wind is suppressed, providing a possibility of increasing the effectiveness of dust capturing.
