FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of preparing catalysts for deep oxidation of CO and organic substances. Proposed is a method of obtaining deep oxidation catalyst. Oxide base is impregnated with salts of transition metals, then dried and calcined. Base is represented by granules of proppant, consisting of quartz and magnesium silicates, or its modification with more developed porosity. Modification of proppant is performed by way of preliminary treatment with an alkali solution with subsequent treatment with solution of mineral acid, washing, drying, calcining.
EFFECT: high activity and high mechanical strength of deep oxidation catalyst.
