FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, namely to devices for water flow energy damping. Water flow energy dampener comprises water deflector well 3 arranged between input 1 and discharge channels 2, a flow divider 4 arranged at the end of the feed channel 1 to divide it into two equal open channel 5, 6 coupled with diffusers 7, 8, outlet section mate tangentially with chambers 9, 10 spiral shape in plan. Chambers 9, 10 have inner surface shaped to truncated cone and are arranged vertically in well 3 where chambers connect with diffusers 7, 8. Chambers 9, 10 are separated by vertical wall 11 along the length of the well 3. Lower end face wall 11 is equipped with horizontal flanges 12, 13, installed on the side of small bases of truncated cones and overlapping the middle part of the area of the well 3. Vertical wall 11 is fixed to the cover of the well and to side walls of both Chambers 9, 10 with its both sides. Height of Chambers 9, 10 is not less than half the height of the well 3. Flow leaving chambers 9, 10 through the smaller base, interacts with horizontal flanges 12, 13, first, expands, and then connects in well 3 with general flow and is dampened in it.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of damping of kinetic energy of the separated flow of the compound in well, excluding local eroded in discharge channel, which provides achieving the goal.
