FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to electrodynamic elements intended for converting electrical energy into mechanical energy, and can be used in robotics, mainly in actuating systems of manipulator. Present invention consists in that linear displacement drive comprises an active element made in form of twisted loop of wires with insulation, some ends of which are connected to source of electric energy, and others are connected to each other and are connected to output rod, according to invention, insulation is made in form of a set of washers, which in scanning have shape of equilateral triangle and connected to each other by common longitudinal thread, height of which passes along axial line of longitudinal threads.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of force and operational characteristics.
