FIELD: physics, instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to the electrodynamic elements designed to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, and can be used in robotics, especially in the executive manipulator systems. The linear actuator comprises an element in the form of a loop of insulated wire, the ends of which are connected to a source of electric power and input and output rods. Each of the two branches of the loop is made in the form of two rigid conductive busbars which are connected with bearings. The ends of these busbars are connected to the input and output rods. Due to the introduction of the rigid conductive busbars interconnected with the bearings, the force and the service life are encreased, which increases productivity and reduces unit costs.
EFFECT: invention provides the increased efforts and improved performance in the executive manipulator systems.
