SUBSTANCE: invention relates to group flight control, wherein the average angular speed of all artificial Earth satellites (AES) in the group is kept equal to the average one for one pass of passive AES. Latter is located at central orbit of the group. Active AES maintain their orbital position relative to the passive AES by periodic reaction-control correction.

EFFECT: technical result is providing the specified configuration of AES formation observed from certain places of the Earth surface.
