FIELD: treatment plants.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to sterilization systems using electromagnetic radiation and can be used for air cleaning of bacteria. Method for sterilization of materials by means of electromagnetic radiation involves increasing intensity of electromagnetic field to value, providing extermination of small-sized biological objects, such as bacteria, viruses. At that, pointed element is placed under electromagnetic field, small-size biological objects are exposed to high frequency currents electromagnetic field, by which pointed element is heated to temperature of not lower than 100 °C, and biological objects and element are preliminary imposed with opposite-sign electric charges. Also disclosed is device for implementing method of sterilization by means of electromagnetic radiation.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows reducing power consumption during method implementation and improved operating characteristics of device.
