FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to production of tyres, a device for production of elastomer compositions, a plant for production of tyres. Device includes a mixing extruder including a suction pump in fluid connection with an inner chamber of the mixing extruder in the sector of the mixing extruder near the extruder head. Suction pump is suitable for operation at a suction pressure (Pa), preferably lower than about 150 mbars.
EFFECT: suction pressure provides improved characteristics of elastomer composition processing, as well as the characteristics of a tyre made from semi-finished products made from the said elastomer composition.
