FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing gypsum with the help of smoke gas desulphation plant. According to a method of extracting gypsum by means of installation for flue gas desulphation gypsum suspension, which also contains fine-grain materials such as, for example, activated carbon particles or particles of residual carbonates, occurring in wet flue gas cleaner, is thickened with the help of at least one hydraulic cyclone and thickened plaster suspension is discharged via lower hydraulic cyclone drain. Note here that water is fed into hydraulic cyclone along the feeding line in addition to a gypsum suspension, thereby leading to impoverishment along with fine-grain material relative to suspension volume in the lower outlet, and the water inlet flow area is added to the hydrocyclone as barrier water flow to form a barrier layer of water. Barrier water flow and gypsum suspension are separated in hydraulic cyclone using a plate until barrier water flow and flow of the gypsum suspension are sufficiently stable.
EFFECT: reduced content of fine material fraction in the lower hydraulic cyclone outlet.
