FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict development of diastolic dysfunction of left and right ventricles and well-timed therapeutic correction in patients with bronchial asthma. Method includes: evaluation of osteopontin level in blood plasma by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method, and if osteopontin value is 36 ng/ml and more, one predicts development of a diastolic dysfunction of both ventricles.
EFFECT: proposed method provides timely correction of therapy in patients with bronchial asthma, enables well-timed correction of the disease treatment.
