SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to therapy and cardiology, and can be used for prediction of probability of progression of chronic cardiac failure in the patients suffering myocardial infarction by clinical and laboratory examination methods. In patients with suffered myocardial infarction, presence or absence of constant form of atrial fibrillation, and blood serum is analyzed by enzyme immunoassay to measure annexin A5 and pro-adrenomedullin level, and then calculates a probability of progressing chronic cardiac failure by formula: P=1/(1+e-(2.985×AN+6.222×MR-proADM+1.181×AFcon-21.363)) and P<0.5 shows a low risk of progressing chronic heart failure, while P≥0.5 predict a high risk of progressing chronic heart failure.
