FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to devices for conversion of AC into DC, and vice versa. This invention consists in that in device for connecting controlled voltage rectifier to AC voltage source, including current-limiting circuits, one per each input clamp of rectifier, each thereof connects input terminal of above device, connected to one of input clamps of above voltage source, with input terminal of above device, connected to one of input clamps of controlled voltage rectifier, at that, every current-limiting circuit includes additional current-limiting element, as well as first and second switches, first switches therein are connected between input terminals of device and first terminals of additional current-limiting elements, second terminals thereof are connected to output terminals of device, and second switches are connected between first and second terminals of additional current-limiting elements, current-limiting reactors are employed as said elements.
EFFECT: invention allows to tens of times reduce loss of power and energy during preliminary charge of output capacitor of controlled voltage rectifier, as well as to reduce time of pre-charging of said capacitor.
